I love ash for all its magical properties, its value and its history.
 The first cleaning techniques date back a long time ago, when ash was used for saponification, usually mixed with animal fat. We owe the birth of soap to it. Legends tell that on rainy days the remains of animals (the fat part) would mix with the ashes from the fire used for cooking and the patios would fill with foam; legends are always a little magical.
 It is a great thrill for me when, after days of work, the moment comes when I realize that the saponification has worked!
